AMD Duron system

After spending the day transferring data from a PC to two recent Macs, I transferred my mother-in-law's data from her computer to this PC and I got to take that computer home.

It's slow by today's standards but is faster than what I'm using now.

Duron 1300mhz

384MB RAM

40GB IDE hard disk

52x CD-RW

56k modem

I think the fan in the power supply is shot, but other than cleaning it of viruses and spyware it appears to be OK.

That would make a good server or media center PC.

Considering it's faster than my main PC, I'll using it for that after I back up my mother-in-law's stuff just in case I missed something.

I replaced the fan in the power supply and saw that two of the capacitors have bulged tops. Time to find another one.
