Spam Threads

Hey everyone, just a quick note to say that it would be better if you didn't reply to (or even view, if you know what it is) spam topics. Us moderators and admins clean it up just as fast as we know about it. If we don't do so fast enough, please let one of us know via PM, an Instant Message, or in the IRC (where I usually am around.)

How about a button on posts that you can tag as spam to notify mods

That will probaby not happen on this revision, but maybe we should start a thread of "things we would like for the phpBB3 version of 68kMLA."

I've got another to add, on macrumors forums you can add multiple posts for quoting, and that's pretty cool.

It is easy enough to do that manually. (I mean typing out the whole

blahblah[/quote ] sort of manual)Personally I just rightclick&open in new tab the quote buttons of each post I want to quote while I am going through the thread then when I am done, I just copy and paste all the needed quotes into a single post.

phpBB 3 has a built in post reporting feature, so that'll be added when we upgrade. As for multi-quote, I'll have a look into it...

Yeah, MultiQuote is by no means necessary, and it is very easy to do manually -- although a new feature is never a bad thing.

I'd rate multiquote as being low priority for the upgrade though.
