Rough value of a Powermac G4 350 Sawtooth? Hardware 7 posts Aug 21, 2008 — Aug 28, 2008
Is 25 bucks for a 350/10gb/DVD reader/ZIP/64mb ram graphite a good deal?

I have plenty of ram to upgrade it with, along with a HD.

Is that a sawtooth or just a PCI yikes?

$25 seems great if its local, to me anyway.

a 350 would be a Yikes! I think the lowest Sawtooth was a 400. Still a pretty good deal, they can be reliable machines, and great for OS9.

It's a Yikes, in the UK that would go for the equivalent of about $60 so it seems a good deal.

I got it, and its definatly a sawtooth(has AGP). Some of the sawtooths were 350 according to LEM

Oh weird. Those must have been like, the super gimped versions. Eww.

unlike the 400Mhz Sawtooths, G4 350MHz G4's have no hope of using Dual processors as they were pre-Rev 7 boards (Uni-north 3 instead of Uni-north Rev 7). you need Uni-North 7 in order to drop a dually in it.

I got my Sawtooth 400Mhz from Dan, and quickly dropped a dual 450Mhz G4 module in it and it's now running with that. With help from another forum member, I will be upgrading from 512MB RAM to 768MB :)

I just loaded Leopard on it too. it's VERY snappy
