My QuickTake 150 came in the mail today complete with box, booster pack for the lithium batteries and QuickTake Travel Case as well as the leather camera grip, all in good shape. Disks, wall charger and manual were also in the mix! All in nice working order.
Here's the thing. I have an SE/30 running System 7.5 with 64mb of RAM. The manual lists the requirements as anything BUT a Mac Plus (boo!), SE, Classic, Portable or Powerbook 100. Does that mean I should be able to use it with my SE/30 and Classic II? When I put the disk in the SE/30 it just stalls during installation. I wonder if Mode32 has anything to do with it.
Anyone using a QuickTake with their SE/30?
The 150, was a improvement over the original 100...and sold new at the time close to $ 700 (USD) biggest improvements were lens and picture storage...The 200 was the best of the bunch, but for some reason, you don't see as many 200's out there I see 150's, but nary any 100's..
For the era, mid 1990's, these were awesome..but nowdays, rather stone age for digital pics..but still useful...I still use my 150, and the looks I get from people using it, is priceless..
I believe the drivers are still out there....as most floppy install disks, have long become corrupted...(sigh)
