cats are cute, but after being around my friend's cats, I have found I am horribly allergic to them (Can't breathe around them, which I used to be able to until recently). I have a dog that we saved the humane society after a pet shop was closed down for having parvo run through it. A lot of the dogs had to be put to sleep, but luckily our dog wasn't hit with parvo. rather instead, he had an intestinal virus called "Coxcidia" or something.

It's unbelievable, but some of the bet pets come from animal shelters. They are the gentlest and most tempered. A lot of animals don't make it to the front (which is sad because it was mostly the former-owner's fault) but the ones that do are absolutely adorable.

Question:

Did they watch you and the cat interact before they send the cat home with you? did they have you bring your other cat in to be around the new cat?

They normally do that for compatibility and make sure the cat will be comfortable and not be alienated by other animals in the household.

How soon did you get to take it home?
