after i sold my tibook, i had the choice of an HP with an amd turdion, or this. it's an intel pentium(!!)dual core, with 2 gigs of ram, 250 gig hard drive, and vister home premium. battery life is great, 4 to 6 hours on a full charge. right now i'm typing on it while it installs itunes and some updates.
