I like the 6400, but I think it has the most terrible video card of all macs built in standard. Your lucky you have the PCI one.
I've owned five 6400s over the years, and I'm now down to one:

300mhz g3, 168mb ram, 10gb hard drive.

yes, nice form factor..But the 6400-6500, was a bear in getting it open to piddle around inside..LOWEND MAC, Labeled them 'road apples '

Some of the 6400 and 6500, suffered from bad internal modems.
