Ok, well the price went up, because we didn't realize that when we got the quote from geico that it only had like 50k insurance. I ended up going to Farmer's Insurance after I compared a rate of $500k insurance (more appropriate and willing to pay extra coverage) and it came out to $100 more than the geico one of the $50 coverage
Geico wanted about $75 more than the $500k coverage of Farmer's and only gives you $250k
So this is what it is (with the * as the decision)
so it's Geico $50k coverage:
$293 every 6 months
Farmers' $500k coverage*
$400 every 6 months
Geico $250k coverage
$475
Obviously I am going for farmers.
Especially since it has the best coverage and is cheaper.
My mom and dad have farmers which allows me to get a cheaper coverage too (about 35% off) which is nice.
It also helps that farmer's gives you a discount of one of you parents served in the military (my dad was in the vietnam war)
