Have a Dual 800 pulled from a QS trying to get fully working 100% in a DA anyone have any other suggestions for getting the L3 cache to work/show up?
I have done the 12v wire hookup on 4th post
I have reset PRAM
I have tried l3enabler and other cache tools
From what I can tell the system is not detecting the address location for the L3 so it of course comes up as invaild so looking for 1 or 2 of the following
1. Location of the resistors needed to cut/add to force 1.95v on the buck (I've found the schematic for the chip but the resistors tied to those pin trace locations DO NOT have 0 value resistor)
2. A way to figure out the address location of the L3 so i can active it. (in the CHUD tools using Reggie which L3 options should be checked and which shouldnt??)
any other ideas anyone else has????
