Thanks, Tomlee. I read somewhere (Pickle?) that leving it plugged in, turned on at the back but shut down was the way to fix the screen. I'll give that a go first (seeing as I can do that as I sleep) and try your method if that doesn't work.

I think 6.0.8 won't work on a CC. When I said LCII, by the way, I meant the CC, which is the same processor and crappy logic board. Roll on the 575 board, says I.
