Hi I am looking for audio software to process my records. I have OS 8.0 right now on system. I tried audacity but it is for OS 9.0 and up

They made ProTools way back when. I've never used it, but I know it existed.

If you don't mind me hijacking this.

Would I be able to use OS 9 on my 8500, and use the AV in's to record and stuff?

Yes, you can use os 9 and the AV section of the 8500.
