I second that. Not a fan of the original Celeron but lately they have been much better chips. I know a lot of people whose opinions of the line have been shaped by the 1990s model of the chip. I was like that myself until I got the chance to try out some new Celeron chips over the past year.
Personally, I think Apple should consider a low-end chip similar to the Celeron for some of the low-end models (like the Mac mini). It would help to keep the costs down and wouldn't hurt low-end users who use their computers for word processing and e-mail.
