If you're not planning on installing any PCI cards, you could swap out the heatsink/fan combo for a heatsink (sans Peltier junction) from a PPC 601-based Mac like a 6100, or a 7200.
Well, the machine already has USB and ethernet PCI cards in it, so I dunno if I want to replace it with a heatsink. The comm-slot has a modem in it, and I don't have any CS ethernet cards, so at least the ethernet PCI card is staying in.
Oil the fan a bit and it will clear right up. Common problem on these.
I didn't think of that; I'll try it after I stop at the store and get a new bottle of oil. (after school, that is)
