First Recap Successful! Onto more...
Awesome, with the help of all the useful information, I contacted trag and ordered some caps for se/30 and CC. Here are some pictures of my first attempt.. all went well.
For anyone that might care: I used sharp pliers to pinch the old cans and twist very lightly. In some places I pressed my free hand's forefinger down on the cap to hold it down while I was twisting it slightly (about 1/4 inch each way) so I wasn't pulling UP on the pads. I also wiggled the caps when they got looser, with my finger, until the posts broke off the cap leaving the lower part of the cap still soldered onto the pad. Then used my flux pen and dabbed the pads and a tinned pen to touch up the pads and remove the remaining piece of cap from the pad. Finally some alcohol to clean everything up. I can see that some of the joints aren't "the best" but it works and its going to be my personal se/30 so someone else wont have to deal with a shoddy recap if it does go bad/have glitches. Anyhow, please give me some critcism.

Make sure to clean up that residual cap goo under I/C's or bad things will happen in the coming months.
How would one go about doing that? edit: I guess the I/C's are through hole soldered, or however you call it, right? So I would need to remove them and then clean under, and then re solder them in place? Which I/C's?? All of them?? haha
Tooth brush and acetone should work nicly , any chip that had a cap near it. Scsi ASC swim scc sony chips etc
Don't forget about UE8
no you only have to remove the chips once the bad things have already happened, other wise use a toothbrush.
