Connect Security Cameras to Powerbook?
Just got (for husband's peace of mind) a set of 2 security cameras that wirelessly connect to a receiver, which connects to TV/VCR/etc with an AV cable that has one red and one yellow connector on each end. Hooked right up, no problem, we can watch it, but I don't have a VCR these days and I'd rather have it hooked up to something that can remember more than that anyway.
How would I connect those to a Lombard? I would guess some kind of adapter to connect it with the S-video port? What software would I use? I can do it with 9.2 or 10.3.9, whichever works better and cheaper.

That S-Video port on the back of the Lombard only does output, not input. You'll need either a PCMCIA or USB video capture solution of some sort.
Yes, I also emailed the company and they said they don't know about Macs, but it needs a capture card of some kind. So now I'm going to have to look for a capture device.

What a neat little device...just a shame it needs Zoomed video to work. (which means that it won't work with my PowerBook 1400
