Mac OS X and iMovie 2
Mac OS X 10.1 - 10.1 is an upgrade CD and also has 10.0 install CDs. Should run nicely on the iMac (running 9.2.2 currently) - upgraded it to 192mb ram recently! - will make it a nice file server for the 68k and older PPC macs that i sometimes use [

Another CD for iMovie 2 - I understand from posts in this forum that it is the last version that will run on Mac OS 9.
Not a bad little addition to the software collection! [

You lucky dog.
Yep, and it's before Apple started to muck around with the interface. I tried to use iMovie '08 (version 7.1.4) today to throw together some HD video clips quickly, and I didn't even recognize the interface. Eventually I figured it out, but version 2 is much more intuitive. Make sure to grab the 2.1.1 update to avoid frustrating crashes with big projects (trust me!).Another CD for iMovie 2 - I understand from posts in this forum that it is the last version that will run on Mac OS 9.
I love version 6 because it has dvd like menus.
Probably the best iMovie I ever used.

I currently use iMovie HD (from iLife '05) and I think it's alright. I had a try of iMovie '08 in the Apple Store (not really enough to make a final judgement of it) and it looked much more confusing than the iMovie HD that I'm used to.
