I collected a 1.4 GHz AMD Duron beige tower system today for free!
I know, not a Mac...but whatever.
The fun thing is that its got removable/hot swappable drive bays.
But that's not all...I also got a Sharp 15" LCD monitor, some RAM, a wireless card, a laptop wireless card, a modem card, a lot of mounting screws, and some thermal paste.
The machine came with 4 hard drives (2x40GB, 1x80GB and 1x160GB).
I think this is my best free conquest so far (apart from the NeXTstation I got for free from a good friend). [

I installed XP on it this morning, and it runs faster than I expected. Now the question is what to use it for...
