A box from Newegg came today. In it was:
2 SATA cables
Transcend 2.5" SATA HD case (N82E16817349007)
Seagate 1.5 TB (yes, terabyte) SATA HD (N82E16822148337)
D-Link 5-port gigabit ethernet switch (N82E16833127083)
I'm slowly starting to move away from the life of 10/100 and IDE stuff, as you can tell.
I'll probably put the 1.5 TB HD in my Optiplex, and move the Optiplex's 200GB HD to the ThinkCentre M50 I just got. The HD case already has an 80GB 2.5" drive in it, and the gigabit switch is in place.
I'm kinda excited.

Well I thought about that too, but I was just really really happy to finally get it all. I thought it'd get here Friday, but it took the (long) weekend to arrive here.Is purchasing something retail really a "Conquest"?
I prefer WD and Seagate over anything else. I've never had a Seagate drive die on meShould of got a WD instead of Seagate, in my opinion. There have been lots of problems with the Seagate ones. Anyway, NICE.
