Lobo in the case- Death chimes

grrrr

I changed the ram, removed all nubus cards.

and still death chiming

Wow old macs are weird.

I unplug and replug the SCSI CD Drive

and it works.

Sometimes cables, cards and SIMMs can become dislodged, which could cause problems. I've found that in 80 percent of cases when soemthing stops working, taking it apart and re-assembling it does the trick.

SCSI Voodoo.

Contact oxidizing.

You're a pervert and God hates you

Have you checked all the electrolytics and tested the power supply rails. Dirty power or bulging capacitors can cause system crashes or failures to boot.

Logic board outside of case: unstressed by cables or mounting points.

Logic board inside of case: opposite.
