Even so, if you can't find a replacement power supply, the LC power supplies are a very simple device, I imagine that if a component on it did go out, it wouldn't be too difficult to repair the unit, or even find a non-genuine replacement. LCs are very energy efficient, and they don't use soft power, and don't use any weird voltages or anything, just normal 5 and 12VDC...if you had to, it wouldn't be very hard at all to track down a PSU that meets those requirements and hack it in.
