Well, in my Quadra 800, my rasterops card goes loose in its socket if touched at all by the monitor wire. Thus a crash and death chimes on boot. So I have to:

Open The Hellish Case

Push on Card

Seal

Reconnect

(Repeat)

The little clips above the slot are useless, and the card is so long and thick that it sags. Must be designed for flat macs not tower macs.

Now it death chimes with nothing hooked up. Again.

Sometimes collecting these old things just isnt worth the hassle when they all break. First the IIci and now this.
