An SE/30 might be an option for me, but some of the stuff I want to do would really be happiest with something like a IIfx or a Quadra... As my odds of getting a IIfx are practically nil, a Quadra is my best bet.
I do plan on getting a classic Mac as soon as funds can be gathered, however.

If I may, the Quadra 650 is a great all-around Quadra. Mine has yet to fail me in any way in terms of performance.
