Apple II LCPDS cards
Are these worth the time and trouble?
I have never used a pre-Macintosh Apple, so this is a question from a complete newbie in these matters. I have a goodly number of machines that could accommodate an Apple II lcpds card, however, so is there any good reason for my looking for one?

They are rare, but certainly have all the same advantages today as they had back when they were originally introduced.
I would say, since you have a Mac which can accommodate one,
- If you don't already have an Apple II,
AND/OR
- You don't have a decent way to transfer files to and from it,
Then an Apple II card is a good solution.

The wonderful thing about the Apple II Workstation Card is saving desk space. If you need to use Apple II expansion cards, you are probably best off with a real IIe or IIgs and the space that it occupies. If you can live with the incredible but limited IIe emulation that the Workstation Card provides, buy one. You can judge your requirements using an Apple II emulator -- even the 68K versions are usable.
