got the 840av running (with internet)
Well I decided to get my 840av working again, with Apple Phone,
and a watch folder on my Mac OS X, for answewring phone messages.
I recently connected an Airport Extreme to it so I could get some
networking going. It's alright with Commumnicator 4.08.
World of difference in browsing, but I am posting this message from,
the 840av. HAHA
But as all 68k projects go, it's now 1 AM in the morning, time to
goto bed.

Could you tell us more about how you set up your 840av as an answerphone, and how you make it work on the network? I had thought that the audio recorded by Apple Telecom software would be incompatible with OSX....
One of the retrochallenge projects from a year or two ago involved Apple Telecom and Applescript doing something similar, as I recall, but the details have seemingly disappeared from the web. (Speaking for myself, I'd dearly love a copy of those scripts, should the scripter ever read this post!)
