How to tell Original CPU in Powerbook 1400 G3

I got a G3 upgraded Powerbook 1400c a few days ago and it came with 2 133mhz and 1 166mhz in addition to the G3 chip inside. Is there any way to tell what the original CPU was?

There is a parts machine in addition to this machine so I have no idea what CPU belongs with what.

IIRC the 166Mhz CPU only worked in 1400/166 models, so if that works in there you'd assume it was originally specced to this.

Umm, doesn't the machine's badge tell you that? It should say one of the following:

1400cs/117

1400c/117

1400cs/133

1400c/133

1400cs/166

1400c/166

The 2nd number (after the "/") is the original processor speed. Alternatively, you can take the PowerBook's serial number to http://www.chipmunk.nl/klantenservice/applemodel.html and plug it in to learn your Mac's specs. Unfortunately, that page isn't loading for me right now...

Looking at the name plate was my first place to look however it was just a 1400c label. That website worked for me and I found that the machine I have is a 1400c 133mhz while the parts unit was a 1400cs 166mhz.

Now I wonder what is wrong with the 1400cs...
