I was given a Pismo stock except the HD was smaller. After aquiring a fully loaded Wallstreet 14" with hinges not doing so well. I gutted it intended on making a good pismo out of it. After installing the HD and the RAM it refused to boot. I did not seat the CPU right so I reseated it and then got a hisssss and 3 beeps which stated no good ram banks...whatever than means. Bad RAM?

Either way, I pulled the RAM out and put it into my Lombard. Instant boot and recognized all 512MB of it.

Also, the Pismo needed to be plugged in for a while before it would even do anything. Any ideas? It did work before I started to play with it (after being plugged in for an hour).
