I just got anohter 840av...

I bought it as is, so there's no drama.

I plugged it in and it chimes.

The cd starts spinning.

There is a floppy disk in the drive, but nothing happens.

I don't seem to be able to get a video signal

I'm leaving it on a while to see if it'll suddenly wake up.

It came without memory or pram battery, but I can swap these into it... would these prevent it from starting up? The pram would only do the date... but the memory... I need some in? Ok I'd better go & get busy with that...

What is the thing to do... if we want to use the tv as a display?
