I've got just the shell that was originally the silly TrashCanHack. Whenever I find a place to post piccies, I'll reload all the old hacks of the past along with shots of the new ones.
This hack involves lopping 2.25" outta' the center of the side sections of the CRT bezel, which line up nicely when re-assembled, BTW. The CRT bezel face has been cut back to a fairly thin edge. Now I'm deciding which sections of the back of the case need to stay and which will feel the bite of the wild Ryoba . . .

The tilt-n-swivel base is a goner, as is the original faceplate, all of which will be replaced by most of the chassis and plastics of a Q630 I got for $10.00 as-is from a thrift shop. It's amazingly full of crud which needs to be blown out and I'll need to check out the Takki stuff to see if I need to do anything special about the PSU voltages for PCI. I'd rather not use the PSU from the 6360 if I can help it.
I'll need a multidrive case PSU at the very least if not a full fledged ATX PSU for all the drives mounted behind the flip-up "MacQuarium" facia. Maybe I'll just adapt a decent sized one and ditch Apple's "standard" substandard (read anemically underpowered) PSU with one REAL one to provide ALL the power and better cooling.
I'll whip up some REAL FEETS for the bottom of the Q630 case to supplemment/complement the pseudo-feets on the sides and set the beast up at a jaunty angle like all the earlier AIOs.
I haven't done more than try out my plastic welding rig yet, so I'll practice using thinly sliced Mac case scrap ABS (?) as the welding rod on this hack. Though it'll certainly end up painted black to go with the PS2 wireless mouse/KBD combo running the 1 PC-3 Mac KVM setup down in the living room . . .
. . . and coincidentally, hide the sanding marks, filler and the mismatched coloration of the donor plastics. }
