I cant help but notice that the 10mb/s ethernet on board is far from it. When doing file transfers from my macbook ,it takes a few minutes to transfer about 4mb. It seems insanely long for the networking standard. Do those 100mb Nubus cards make any difference, or will the Nubus bus lag it down?

Are you running OS 8.1 on it or something older?

What have you got between the Quadra and the MacBook, a switch, hub, gender-bender?

Are you doing AppleShare over IP or over AppleTalk?
