This has nothing to do with the onboard PATA or OS. I do not really even want to use OS 9 on it. 10.4/10.5 is what I desire on the QS.

This has to do with the QS not continuing much past it's boot chime with the SATA card installed. It does not even try to use the display.

The DA however likes the SATA card just fine. :/ (and they both like other PCI cards)
