If I recall, back on the old Snitz board I hit over 5000 posts. And I will admit - I did
more than my fair share of postcount++; back then - I was young, and despite being 18, still very stupid.
I think I also hit that number on the phpBB forum pre-crash...I can't remember though. While I do post a lot, especially in the Lounge, on topics that are definitely
not 68k-related (such as PCs, and cars), I'd like to think at least that I spend a fair amount of my time talking about the old Macs, and hopefully helping other people make the most out of them.
Personally I couldn't really care less about having a big postcount, in fact I think I remember asking ~tl once a year or two ago to decrease my postcount by a few hundred because I found having such a large number of posts to be embarassing.
As they say...."its not how big it is, its how you use it!"
