Yeah, some of the statistics PHPbb3 has are pretty interesting.

As an example, I've been here since the start of this iteration of the board, and indeed, as of today I've been on the MLA 7 full years. In the intervening time, I've learned that perhaps a more interesting metric is how many posts per day somebody has.

Yours, as an example, is 2.49.

Christopher, the forumgoer with the most posts, has made 3.71% of all of the posts, which is 6.48 posts per day.

My own stat is 1.41% of all the posts, and 1.80 posts/day.

On older iterations of this forum we suffered from a problem known as PostCount++ by which people would post pretty random or pointless things seemingly only for the purpose of increasing the count of posts they'd made, as at the time we had one of those ranking systems.

It's something I've seen a lot of here, maybe not in the same way as it was done before, but it's worth thinking "What does this really bring to the table and add to the conversation?" when you make a post.

Anyway, that was my bit.
