"Feisty Fawn" just means it's the sixth major release of Ubuntu (A,B,C,D,E,F). Nothing to do with whether it's PPC or not. I think they're up to G or H by now. There are "unofficial" PPC builds for each release, so seek "Ubuntu PPC" and ye shall find.

Will "Feisty Fawn" run acceptably on a 6360 w/466 MHz Crescendo G3 upgrade a/o a 50 MHz mobo transplant?
If not, how about a 9600 MoBo? Dunno the spec, but I can probably find a reasonably priced 800 lb. Gorilla Class Processor Card upgrade for it.
I would go for the 9600 myself, as Linux loves RAM. 512MB or better is definitely preferred. Especially if you can match or better the CPU upgrade in the 6360. You best bet for video is probably whichever card the 9600 came with originally (IXMicro Twin Turbo 128?), or some variety of ATI.
