that just means you didnt kill the internal power supply, logic on the other hand is a very fragile thing, you basically shunted 5 volts down a (less than) 3 volt data line and most likely cooked something
yes it might be possible to repair if its something semi simple, but I would not touch it (and I am working on my masters in electronic design)
