The SimplyTV card would have its own VRAM, which is how it would be able to support the extended desktop.
I haven't played around with mirrored displays in the Classic Mac OS for a while, but from memory I think you should be able to click the "Arrange" button, and drag one display and drop it onto the other. I think thats how you do it, anyway...

Yes, that's how it should be able to be done... however when I do that, it only goes back to side-by-side. The option for mirrored displays is grayed out too, which is why I was wondering if perhaps it needs its own software to set it up.
