The second generation Wallstreets were the ones that could drop video down to 640x480 and 800x600 if needed (a bit blocky at 640x480).
It did not expand the lower resolutions to fit the display, it just displayed the resolutions using only one real pixel per one visible pixel and had massive black borders around the sides. Sure it was not blocky or fuzzy but it was tiny.It is nice that it could at least use smaller resolutions but they were pretty annoying to use. Things like StarCraft were quite lame scrunched that small and some games did not work at all for some reason.
