Server 10.4 Not booting
I have the installer dvd for a g4, 10.4 server
It will not pot or mount, unless i stick the disk in after os 9 has loaded, the only way i think i could install it is to install 10.4 client then, server,
but if i do that i would want to use 10.5 server, but i do not have the disk for it and i am not downloading it, ( I am legal towards apples sofware)

Is it a case of the firmware not wanting to boot from the DVD? Typically firmware updates can be done from MacOS 9.
What has 10.5 got to do with the issue?
