both do the same thing.
I tried to run the hardware diagnostics and it just locked the whole machine up. hmmmm....

I copied the ethertalk extensions and overwrote what was already in the extension folder from installing the OS, i still get the issue on TCP/IP giving me an error that the predefined "ethernet" doesnt exist, so switching to localtalk, blah blah.

i think the ethernet card is shot funny though, i remmber long long long ago it used to work. native in the OS as it sat.
