If it's a Dock I, you need to desolder the powerpin on the ROM and the LCD will automagically begin to function, but doing so will bork all your Dock services except NuBus and the hardwired Docking Connector services like ADB, Sound and Modem passthru, IIRC. I posted the pin number somewhere in the forums, it's on the right side of the notch, mine's got header/jumper cutout wired to it now so I can run it either way at whim. Wink

In the DevNotes, you can look up the "Docking Bar" etc. bits that'd need to be hacked in the ROM to disable just the Dock Video to enable LCD support with Dock services intact. See my DeclROM Hack thread for details on the sResource example.
