E-Machines Colorlink question

E-Machines Colorlink question Networking 4 posts Oct 5, 2009 — Oct 8, 2009
What is the RJ-45 port on these cards for?

It's Ethernet. (That's what the "link" part of the name stands for.)

I know there are drivers available somewhere online. (Well, there were eight years ago, anyway.)

I haven't tried out the ColorLink, but I have used an E-Machines Futura IISX with Enet daughter card. My experience was that it worked fine with Classic Networking, but it froze the computer if you tried to load Open Transport.

That is interesting!

I'm probably going to see if I can find one.
