I pulled the on board cache card from the mother board when I installed the G3 years ago. This was recommended in the Sonnet installation instructions. The 500Mhz G3 processor worked great. This 1Ghz G4 processor works well now and the original issue I had with crashing is gone. I still see intermittent issues that I relate to timing issues somewhere. These issues I can live with since I see them mostly at startup. Once its up and running, it screams.

One issue I do see once and a while is the spinning color wheel. CPU Monitor says it's really bound up and I just have to wait it out.
