The PB 170's HD is actually a 1 GB IDE HD connected to a IDE-SCSI bridge.

Oh man, that's truly a great find - I've sought out one of these bridges for years.

Thanks! I actually bought that PB 170 (different than the one in this conquest) from Goodwill for $5; one of the best conquests I've had. I just need to wipe the drive because of the random viruses on it, and I'll be set.
