Actually, I believe their both PB 3400 RAM modules. I got a PB 5300 ram module in my hand here. (Goldenram, 09/30/97) The connector is reversed on the 5300. Apple did this so that the 3400 and 5300 ram modules are not interchangeable. Voltage differences or "chip ratings" as Byrd was saying. Something like that, I don't know why exactly.
If my PB 3400 was in working order, I'd be interested in that large one. It's power-port is broke. Gotta re-solder it. But I don't have the tools for that at the moment. Plus I'm working on getting my new PowerBook G4 Titanium's screen to work. (Needs a new display cable.)
