Sold on eBay for just under $5000. Yes, that is a Color Classic prototype with clear acrylic case. It is quite possibly the coolest Mac EVER. In all existence. Period. Had I known about it, I would have sold a kidney to get it.

That thing is begging for some CCFL/LED action.
I just imagine Johny Ive looking at these prototype models saying, "hm ... what, if we add some color to this plastic?"

Oh come on - look at it, sitting there, all transparent like. Just gagging for a big purple CCFL shining up from the back somewheres. There's not a jury in the world....
Whatever floats your boat...personally I can't stand computers stuffed full of lights and stuff...and I don't think a clear CC with lights in it would change that!
It has great potential for a Macquarium!
