Long story short, someone got into my account and stole money. It was found to be hacked. Luckily it wasn't tethered to my personal checking account or I'd be screwed. That plus many other horror stories I've heard in the past.

PayPal's a nice idea, but realistically they suck when it comes to security during transactions and follow-up when money is stolen. They would rather not admit their problems and treat me like a statistic.
