Yep, that's true; that was the highlight of their museum! If anybody is curious about it, it was a clear plastic IW II with a gold plate attached on its lid to commemorate something which I forgot. It was really awesome!They used to have a prototype Apple Imagewriter in their mini museum. I've asked about it several times, but they always told me it wasn't for sale.
I got my Farallon PhoneNet adapters at Weirdstuff for 50 cents each.
I like to check there every now and then.
Previously, I've also bought a lot of software from there (including a brand new copy of WriteNow 3.0), a Palm, a giant floppy disk shelf, a SCSI enclosure, and a ton of other things.
They also had some in-box adapters (Mini-DIN 8 Localtalk, GeoPort Modem) when I came.
And on the other hand, the Classic works great! It has some wobbling of the screen, but nothing a soldering iron can't fix.
