I can't get this machine to install the Mac OS with the 575 motherboard.
The original motherboard that came with the Color Classic is missing ram and gives me out of memory messages when I try to Install 7.6.1 off the CD.
I also keep getting bus errors when I boot off the Mac OS 7.6.1 Full Install CD and the Mac OS 8.1 CD with the 575 Mother board.
I've tried making my boot disks with the system enabler on it with no success. Also the Floppy drive in the Color Classic is broken.
The Hard Drive has been zeroed out and has nothing on it. It only has 80mb of storage.
I'm in the process of hunting down a 2gb harddrive and an external floppy drive for the Color Classic. I bought an external USB floppy drive for my Aluminum iMac to help me out. I've been trying to make the boot disks on my Snow iMac G3 600mhz.
Please help!
