Is there a way to change language settings on the Newton like there is on the iPods? (My mom's new iPod Touch came from the factory with Danish as its language default for some reason but that was easily changed).

I asked that question in the Newton section, and it seems it isn't possible without switching the socketed ROM's from a french or english Newton. Those two were hard enough to find and expensive, so obviously I won't try to find another one just for parts. Still, I learned german for about ten years in school, so that won't be a huge problem!
