2GB Hard Drive on Color Classic?

2GB Hard Drive on Color Classic? Peripherals 8 posts Dec 24, 2009 — Dec 27, 2009
What type of Hard Drive does the Color Classic use, does it use SCSI or IDE? Also will 2GB be compatible with this machine, and where can I purchase one online?

I'll be putting a LC 575 motherboard in with 7.6.1 for the Operating System.

pretty much anything before the B&W G3's are going to be narrow scsi, you can find them on ebay, or if you want to wait abit longer I am going to have a 2 gig scsi drive poping up on the trading post soon

I'd recommend using the Drive Setup version of the 7.5/7.6 disk tools boot floppy. Back in the day I had the same headaches with the SC setup not seeing my drives.
