Tons of Old Kid Software at Goodwill

Tons of Old Kid Software at Goodwill Software 4 posts Jan 2, 2010 — Jan 3, 2010
(I thought I had posted this, but apparently not.)

Went to the big main Goodwill in Portland today. A school has donated a huge bunch of elementary-age old software. I saw many Word Muncher, Math Blaster, Oregon Trail, and animal, science, and geographical software. I got two KidPix Studio Deluxe, one disk in the usual green with purple accents, one purple with green, and I also got one that was pink with yellow which turns out to be the teacher's resource disk. Also I got Geo Bee from National Geographic. All $2.99. Tried installing on my Lombard and it took forever and then didn't work in Classic. I will have to see if I can try it on other machines. Maybe it is too new! :D

The hard part was deciding what to scoop up, there is so much! I wanted to let anybody who was interested and close enough to have a shot at it.

I may head over, then. I wouldn't mind a real old Oregon Trail and KidPix.

NIB type stuff, or used?

Used and in the school's packaging, for the most part. From the classrooms or the library.
